Beginning with the only old track, \"Dayvan Cowboy\" (a highlight of 2005's The Campfire Headphase), Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin sound just a little refreshed at the thought of producing a low-impact EP instead of an eagerly awaited LP. After the slowly shifting single gets out of the way, Sandison and Eoin start looking back to Geogaddi territory, reprising ghostly effects and skeletal melodies with quarter-speed hip-hop beats to create a work that would barely take you 45 miles along the highway but, put on repeat mode, wouldn't even sound tired by Montreal.
