GREEN VINYL

CORTIS bleed the sonic edges of K-pop with their inventive, high-energy sophomore EP, GREENGREEN. The follow-up to COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, the EP finds members James, Juhoon, Martin, Seonghyeon, and Keonho further embracing a distinctive sound, blending a '90s alt-rock vibe with swaggering hip-hop and EDM touches. Cuts like "TNT," "REDRED," and the kinetic "ACAI" are certainly club-ready, but also evoke the genre-bending creativity of groups like Gorillaz and Tame Impala. We also get the hypnotic trap atmosphere of "Wassup," the dreamy soul-gaze of "Blue Lips," and the frenetic, stadium-sized wallop of "YOUNGCREATORCREW."
